HOW ROZO WORKS
Easily build high-performance peta-scale filesystems by aggregating capacity and performance of commodities
Used like a traditional network file system on your LAN, Rozo does not require any modification of your applications or workflows. It will serve your workstations and servers whether they run Linux, Windows or Mac OS.
Rozo is fully compliant with directory services such as OpenLDAP or Active Directory.
Fast storage provisioning
Assemble all available storage devices in one or several pools. For example, create a HDD pool and a SSD pool. Find the right balance that suits your workloads, workflows and budget.
On top of each of these tiers, create as many file systems as you need. Manage them through logical quotas that you can change on the fly.
Cloud like installation
Simply install the Rozo software on premise or in the cloud infrastructure of your choice to get a storage solution with both capacity and performance.
Script the automation tools to deploy, extend, upgrade or replicate your setup.
Architected without compromise to leverage a blazing fast data protection algorithm
Higher data protection
Storage device, network or node failures are fully transparent to the applications. Not only does Rozo rebuild storage devices or full nodes, but its self-healing capability will always ensure data redundancy.
More so, to protect from hardware malfunctions, Rozo ensures data integrity from storage device to application and automatically repairs any detected data corruption.
RozoFS is built around a powerful erasure code algorithm, the Mojette Transform. Combined with a parallel networking architecture, it offers a storage system that handles real-time constraints of the applications. It optimizes your hardware performance whatever your media choice - HDD or flash.
Each node in Rozo can sustain really high performance for sequential or random I/Os. Of course, the more nodes you add, the more performance you get.
Provide high performance scalable storage to your applications through your regular LAN. Access to the storage is as simple as connecting to the enterprise network.
Using Rozo as a POSIX file system reduces the cost of your infrastructure by co-locating storage and applications on the same servers.
Private public, hybrid
Rozo is compliant with any hardware, private cloud stack, or public provider. Rozo is also container friendly.
A proven shared nothing scale-out architecture
Rozo is a software-only scale-out NAS that creates highly available, highly scalable software-defined storage at a fraction of the cost of traditional SAN or NAS arrays. Its converged or hyper-converged architecture radically simplifies procurement and deployment, while features like storage tiers and erasure coding, together with the latest hardware innovation like RDMA networking and NVMe drives, deliver unrivaled efficiency and performance.
